Jacob Prasch is Demonic and Demonised by his OWN standard

I was looking back over the infamous rant Prasch made in 2012 at Deborah Du Rand on her website Discerning the World for the crime of fact-checking his citation-free book Shadows of the Beast, and I spotted something interesting…

So Prasch throws a quite petulant fit and explodes over the comments section, saying Deborah is ‘demonic‘ and “a wicked daughter of darkness” (amongst many other things), and Prasch says this on the 4th page of the comments:

Prasch states Deborah “lied and spread slander”.  He references 2 Timothy 3:3 that warns about people who’ll come in the end times and will be slanderous—with the word in Greek for slanderous there being diaboloi (διάβολοι)—thus concluding that the Bible calls Deborah “demonic”.

The trouble with this is the beef surrounds Prasch calling Pre-Tribulationists false teachers, and Deborah posted a scan of the 2 pages of his book which logically concludes Prasch is stating this.  You can hardly call someone a liar for grasping the logical conclusion to which you are—perhaps accidentally through bad writing—heading!

However, consider the conclusion Prasch reaches in his view of 2 Timothy 3, that Deborah is demonic.  Look at the passage he’s getting that from:

2 Timothy 3:1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

So, Deborah wasn’t slandering anyone, but that’s easy enough to spot.  No, consider Prasch himself in light of those 5 verses.  The people Paul warns Timothy of will be:

  1. lovers of themselves
  2. lovers of money
  3. boastful
  4. proud
  5. abusive
  6. disobedient to their parents
  7. ungrateful
  8. unholy
  9. without love
  10. unforgiving
  11. slanderous
  12. without self-control
  13. brutal
  14. not lovers of good
  15. treacherous
  16. rash
  17. conceited
  18. lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God
  19. having a form of godliness but denying its power

Hasn’t Jacob Prasch over the past 12 months been exposed as exhibiting over 2 thirds of that list of descriptors?  Is he not a lover of himself with his grandiose views of himself and his ability; a lover of money with his $91k salary from a small charity; boastful about who he is with his describing his ministry as the ministry of Elijah; proud with his belief that he’s right and all the denominations are wrong and apostate; abusive with his screaming fits he recorded to his YouTube channel attacking various innocent peopleunholy in his refusal to repent of his sins even when exposed, to the point that he’d be labeled an out and out “pagan” by a spiritual abuse charity headwithout love or indeed ANY of the fruit of the Spirit as the same charity head pointed outunforgiving with his refusal to accept David Nathan’s apology for the couple of things he realised he was wrong with; slanderous with his persistent and fabricated accusations against a Christian film-producing couple; without self-control in his inability to stop himself filming himself and broadcasting his fits of rage and aggression to tens of thousands of people on Youtube; brutal in his targeting and spiritually abusing a British Christian lady called Sally who was driven by Prasch’s abuse to the brink of suicide, with Prasch then slandering her further via his Facebook page; not a lover of good by his persistent returning to his vomit of lies and slander and the production of attack-oriented videos over the course of a full YEAR; treacherous in his dealing with his own supporters who speak out just a whimper against him like Bill Randles who was thrown under the bus and coerced publicly into committing suicide by hangingrash in shouting and screaming for honest people to be witch-hunted across social media without caring a jot about the damage it would do to reputations and Christian ministries, as well as for the wider Christian witness who do not expect to ever see such things happening outside of paganism; conceited in viewing his position as exalted and his views as superior and anybody who disagrees being worthy of slander and ridicule; a lover of pleasure rather than a lover of God in seeking first not the Kingdom but, like a drug addict, seeking the steady flow of narcissistic supply that comes from his audience online and at conferences; and having a form of godliness but denying its power in his grandstanding in the church as if he were a Christian whilst turning people away from the Bible to his Midrashic nonsense that converges with Kabbalah.

If one of the 19 descriptors incorrectly used was sufficient for Prasch to condemn Deborah as “demonic” and a “wicked daughter of darkness”, then what is a person who scores 17 out of 19 as Prasch himself does?
